Just recieved the update above on our Y Chromosome. Out of 797 tested, the big majority come from the middle east. So our ancestor, long before he moved to Switzerland, moved from the middle east to Europe.

The DNA testing was originally done by National Genographic. After they went out of business I transferred the DNA test to Familytree.com. I just received this report from them.
I knew about this from other tests. One of our distant cousins from the middle east contacted me and ask why, if we are genetic cousins on the paternal line, we looked European. I explained to him that his paternal ancestor stayed in the middle east and married middle eastern women, and his descendents therefor looked middle eastern. Our male ancestor moved to Europe, married Europeans, which is why we look and are Euorpean.
